Bed Time

So our normal bedtime routine for the kids is: brush your teeth, go potty, give the other parent a hug and kiss, the other parent takes them up, says prayers, reads them a story, tucks them in.  Every night.  Well if we happen to get home late, we skip the story.  Last night we got home late and they went potty and we tucked them in.  Well, within 5 minutes both kids were yelling down to us because they didn't get to say their prayers.  Neither of them asked for a story (which they love their stories), but both had to say their prayers to be able to fall asleep.  This makes my heart very happy! :-)
