Flu Bug

I was dreading the day, but knew it would eventually hit...Blake has the flu. I woke up this morning feeling horrible...could barely swallow my throat hurt so bad. Tom agreed to take Blake to daycare so I could stay home and get some rest. When I heard "honey, I'm going to need some help here," coming from Blake's room, I knew it wasn't going to be good. I went in there and almost vomited myself from the smell. Blake had apparently been sick several times throughout the night. He was covered in vomit, as was his crib, blankets and stuffed animals. So much for me getting some rest! I gave him a bath while Tom threw the clothes in the washer. Tom went to work but came home by noon or so to help me out. Blake got better throughout the day, although he did have a nasty case of diarrhea, thankfully only once. He was ready for bed by 6:30 tonight, so we let him go. I'm about ready myself at this point! I'm hoping we are all feeling better by morning..it's a busy weekend with the fundraiser that I am putting on Saturday.
